My name is Emma and I blog at Life in the Mum’s Lane. I am happily 40 and mum to 2 children. I blog mainly about Northamptonshire days out with the odd bit of travel outside the Shire thrown in.
Where was your favourite ever trip?
My favourite was our 2nd trip to Disneyland Paris in October 2018. We had good weather, the kids were happy, no squabbling, no dramas just lots of happy memories.
What made you choose to go there and who did you go with?
We went to Disneyland Paris in May 2014 and my son barely remembered it and quite a few rides were a no go due to the children’s ages so we decided it was time for a 2nd visit. I love Halloween so October half term was a good fit for us. I travelled with my other half Stuart, daughter Lily and son Luke.
What made it so special ?
It was special because we all had such a brilliant time. We made the most out of our time, didn’t stress about times and queues, enjoyed the park and loved it all. The Halloween parade was fab and I preferred it to the main event. I would have watched the light show again but my son was just too tired but other than that we all had an amazing time and agreed on everything which on a family holiday is just unheard of.
Where was your least favourite trip and why?
Probably Devon Cliffs Haven because we were very very unlucky with the weather and went one Easter about 10 years ago. It was in March and FREEZING! The caravan only had heating in the living room. 1 night it was so cold we all went to bed fully dressed.
What destination is on your Bukit list ?
Sooo many but I think Ibiza or Mexico next. Ibiza because then I will have done all 3 Balearic Islands and the kids did request a short flight after our last holiday which was 9 hours! Mexico because it just looks stunning and I have friends that have visited and loved it.
